International Organizing Committee
The IAHR XXI World Congress International Organizing Committee is responsible for the planning and execution of the XXI World Congress on behalf of the IAHR. The Committee consists of officers of the affiliate IAHR association, the DVRW (German Association for the Study of Religions) and is chaired by the local Congress Director and the General Secretary of the IAHR .

Academic Program Committee
The IAHR XXI World Congress Academic Program Committee is made up of notable scholars of a wide range of topics and interest to ensure an even distribution of subjects at the IAHR Congress. The IAHR XXI World Congress Academic Program Committee will evaluate all submitted panel, paper and poster proposals according to academic quality and research standard. The IAHR XXI World Congress Academic Program Committee will accept and reject all proposals based on their relevance to the Congress theme and the four relevant fields indicated. It has the right to make improvement suggestions in those cases where it is felt that a proposal, though relevant to the Congress, does not yet meet the standards that can be expected at an international congress of this level.

Advisory Committee
It is a pleasure and privilege to report that the IAHR 2015 World Congress Advisory Committee has now been established, with Proff. Peter Antes and Rosalind I.J. Hackett co-chairing the committee. The IAHR 2015 World Congress Advisory Committee, constituted of renowned, experienced and IAHR dedicated scholars and IAHR Honorary Life Members, has the task of advising and supporting the Congress organizers.
