Getting to the Congress Venue
- Public Transportation
With the Central Station in the city center and less than two miles between the city center and university campus, all venues and meeting places of the Congress will be easily reached. Regular round-the-clock tram and bus lines service the campus area. All hotels are within short distance to a tram or bus stop.
We are committed to keeping the impact our Congress has on the environment as low as possible. Therefore we encourage you to use public transportation whenever possible to reach the Congress site. We especially invite you to enjoy Erfurt's own Venice - a park along the Gera river in the city center which leads from the old city through the southern end of the Nordpark directly to the university campus and makes for a wonderful walking experience.
Most trams and tram stops are wheelchair accessible. Congress organizers should be notified in advance where assistance for the disabled is needed to ensure safe and easy access and transportation.
